About Heroes Behind AI

Heroes Behind AI is the editorial platform of Angelina Yang, an AI educator, interviewer, and fast.ai fellow.

Over the past two years, Angelina has conducted long-form interviews with 50+ founders, technologists, and operators across the AI ecosystem: infrastructure builders, product leaders, and early-stage technical founders. The interviews are structured, not promotional. The analysis is editorial, not algorithmic.

What started as a podcast became a methodology. The show, Decoding AI Builders, gives every guest an archetype profile and a journey-stage map. Across enough guests, patterns emerge. Those patterns are what Heroes Behind AI exists to surface.

This site hosts two surfaces of that work. Founders for Students gives verified university students free, structured access to the Decoding AI Builders archive and analytical layer. The partner program opens that audience to AI companies looking to reach the next generation of builders through a curated brand they trust.
